Chardonnay is the last foal we have out of Loretta, our foundation broodmare and dam of our stallion Rasputin. Chardonnay is a very pretty filly who combines the bloodlines of our stallions Rasputin and Socrates.

Loretta, a powerful deep bodied ster mare is a Uniform (Wahtamin XX) out of a Purioso ster mare. She is well bred diversified horse and shows exceptional movements. She likes to jump and has a good and careful technique. She competed in dressage scoring in the 60 %.  Loretta is the foundation broodmare of our breeding program. She has excellent conformation and strong feet and legs. 

Offspring
1997 foal: by Excellent W. 1st premium in France.
1998 foal: Rasputin, a very classy stallion by Inspekteur (Darwin x Amor). He is a CWHBA and CSHA approved stallion 
Her son Vulcan (sold) was winner and reserve champion of the 3 yr old class Hanoverian Breeders Club Free Jumping Competition at the RCRA

Socrates is a very athletic stallion with superb jumping ability. His sire is the spectacular Pavo Cup winner Krack C (Flemmingh x Beaujolais x Ulrich), his mother is Larissa (Damocles x Pion). Socrates has inhereted the jumping ability of his famous great grandfather Voltaire.

Socrates has bred many mares and his offspring are big athletic horses with very good conformation, exceptional jumping ability and a real fun personality. Their owners love his offspring. They have lots of expression and tend to stand out in the field.
