Karmelle is a lovely Dutch Warmblood / TB cross. She is the first foal out of the MonteCristo son Trudeau and we are very pleased with her. She shows very good conformation, long legs and a pleasing personality. This is the 8th foal out of Kate's Obsession, her offspring are easy to ride with good temperament and attitude. They have very good conformation, are willing to work for you and show good jumping talent.

Karmelle has:

- beautiful front end, very light, power from behind
- long fluid strides, 3 excellent gaits
- elegant looking mare - has potential to excel in anything

Karmelle would also make wonderful broodmare - very correct conformation, with excellent bloodlines
Both dam and sire line are great all around horses - Trudeau is excelling in dressage and also scored 9's for his jumping form. Her dam Kate's Obsession has a great work ethic, was used as a pony club horse in her early years, very correct conformation and has had 11 foals to date, all offspring doing well competeing in all types of disciplines (hunter, dressage and 3 day eventing)

Her sire Trudeau is competing in dressage and was Champion at the Equivents Ottawa Summer Classic. He won three firsts and a second.  At the Ottawa Spring Classic Trudeau was Reserve Champion, scoring: Test 1: 65.926% Test 2: 68.529% Test 3: 67.143% and Test 4: 72.222%.  He was winner of the 3 yr old colt class at the CW Open Breed Show, and reserve champion Young Horse.

Trudeau is bred for performance and like all his siblings he has amazing rideability.

Trudeau's mother Pirona is a tall, dark chestnut mare with good conformation, nice fluid movements and a good stride. She has lots of predicates behind her. Irona is the daughter of Zarona, a Keur Preferent mare. The dam of Zarona is also both Keur and Preferent, proving that this line passes on it's excellent qualities in their offspring.
